NELTA (Nepal English Language Teachers’ Association)
Description:

The vision of NELTA is to enhance quality of English language teaching and learning in Nepal and high degree of professionalism among the ELT professionals. The British Council Nepal played an instrumental role in the establishment of this Association. Since its establishment, it has been recognized as a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit making professional association with the aim of enhancing ELT in Nepal.

NileTESOL
Description:

NileTESOL is a professional association for all those individuals who are actively involved in the development of the teaching of English and in teaching content in English in Egypt and globally. NileTESOL operates as a part of the English Studies Division of the School of Continuing Education at the American University in Cairo through a Board of Directors from the EFL community in Egypt. Members of the Board serve as volunteers on a rotating basis.

PALT (The Philippine Association for Language Teaching, Inc.)
Description:

(PALT) is the oldest professional organization of language teachers in the country. The association primarily devotes itself to the promotion of excellence in language teaching, language education research, and professional development. It does not only concern itself with the teaching of English but also with the teaching of Filipino, local languages, and for some time, foreign languages such as Spanish.

Panama TESOL
Description:

Panama TESOL's mission is to strengthen the effective teaching and learning of English throughout the Republic of Panama while respecting each individual's language rights, to promote academic achievement, to disseminate information, and to encourage instruction and research.

PELLTA (Penang English Language Learning and Teaching Association)
Description:

PELLTA is a professional organisation based in Penang, Malaysia. Membership is open to all who are interested in the teaching and learning of the English language. Through their workshops and biennial ELT conference, they hope to provide opportunities for the sharing of expertise and experiences among teachers and non-teachers alike.

Peru TESOL
Description:

Peru TESOL is a non-profit organization of teachers of English in Peru. Its purposes are to stimulate professional development, and to strengthen instruction and research. They regularly organize high quality events which are opportunities to keep up-to-date with current trends in teaching, to share knowledge and experiences and to meet and network with other teachers.

PRTESOL (Puerto Rico Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages)
Description:

PRTESOL’s purpose is to stimulate professional development, disseminate information about research, books and other materials related to the teaching of English as a Second Language (ESL). PRTESOL organizes activities to keep up-to-date with current trends in the teaching of ESL, to share knowledge and experiences and to meet with other professionals in the field.

Qatar TESOL
Description:

Qatar TESOL’s aim is to help EFL/ELT professionals share their expertise and further the efforts to develop English language education in Qatar. Through the resources on this site, conferences and special lectures, they hope to provide a forum for their members to meet and interact professionally. Teachers, administrators, university students planning on a career in English language teaching, and others who have an interest in teaching are all welcomed to join.

SAUA/SATE (Slovak Association of Teachers of English)
Description:

Its aim is to train lecturers for courses in English. Two to four times a year SATE Newsletter is issued. This newsletter contains articles dealing with the theory and practice of English. Members get it for free.
